Dawn’s photography is a custom portrait studio for children of ALL ages.  Young or old, Dawn creates fine portraits of your children, family, or graduating senior to be displayed as art in your home and passed on for future generations.

STUDIO HOURS:
Because of the personal and in depth nature of our work at Dawn’s Photography, all business is conducted by appointment.  In this way, we can make sure that the time we spend together is uninterrupted.  Typically we are available for appointments between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.

PRICING:

Session fees are based on the time of day, location, and the number of people to be photographed.  Our portraits come in several fine finishes and an infinite number of shapes and sizes.  Duplicate images are priced less than originals.  Please contact the studio for more information.

Design Consultation:

Before spending time behind the camera, Dawn will personally sit down with you in order to learn a little bit about you and your children/family.  The studio is a cozy and comfortable place, where big ideas blossom.  Dawn will help you brainstorm and prioritize the details of your upcoming portrait creation.  In addition, she will provide valuable insight and tips to help your children pre-visualize an enjoyable session.  This consultation is free of charge when you book a session.  Due to the large amount of information and occasionally the delicate nature of the information, it is best to come without your children.

Portrait Session:

Most portrait sessions are in the studio, but not all of them.  For example, Dawn can arrange to meet you in a park, on a football field or in your own home.  This will be determined at the design consultation, and is based on the look that you want to achieve.

Each session typically lasts an hour and a half.

The studio is designed to be easily accessible to all ages and physical abilities.  Our studio is kid and adult friendly with an easy transition into our camera room allowing children to move freely with curious eyes.  When your child is comfortable, they are ready to help make beautiful photographs.

Being a mother herself, Dawn prefers to capture the moments as they happen.   Dawn realizes that these moments are all you have of each age and she wants to help you to document the personality of each person.   Letting her subject be completely comfortable with who they are, she will help you to relax, laugh, play and enjoy each moment of your portrait creation; all the while capturing through her lens those moments that parents will want to hold on to forever.

Dawn is the only photographer in the studio- you will not have to worry about being photographed by anyone else.  She will coax, soothe, encourage or direct your child’s energy to create dynamic compositions.  The images make a clear statement about the personality and essence of your child.  Avoiding gimmicks and special effects, Dawn’s work shines with delicate simplicity.

THE VIEWING APPOINTMENT:

Portraits will be viewed by appointment in our studio via a multimedia presentation you are encouraged to set aside about 90 minutes for the projection appointment.  Please arrange a babysitter so you can devote your full attention to selecting your portraits.  Everyone who wishes to be a part of the decision making process should plan to attend.

PAYMENT PROCEDURES:
Due to the custom nature of this product, 50% minimum order payment is required at the time of your portrait creation with the balance due at the viewing appointment.  No portraits leave the studio without full payment.   For your convenience we accept all major credit cards.

PORTRAIT DELIVERY:

Although we do everything in our power to deliver your finished portraits as soon as possible, our number one priority is quality.  Most orders are ready in about four weeks; however, we reserve the right to delay any order we feel needs further attention.  Portraits will not be delivered until they meet our high quality standards.

GUARANTEE:
We consider ourselves perfectionists.  We are not happy until you are happy.  If your portraits don’t thrill you, you may return them for reprinting.  Our goal is your complete satisfaction.

POLICIES:
Dawn’s photography retains copyright to all images captured.  It is illegal to scan, copy or reproduce the work of Dawn’s photography in any manner or medium and punishable by law with fines starting at $150,000.  As an artist, Dawn wishes to have complete control over the final look of her client’s images, and scanned images damage her reputation as a photographer by both distorting and devaluing the image quality.  This is not only my love but my livelihood and I thank you for respecting my work and chossing to not reproduce my images.

All images may be used as advertisement, including but not limited to use in my portfolio, website, blog, ads, marketing materials or displays.

Online galleries will expire after 2 weeks…it is highly recommended that you make your purchasing decisions within this timeframe.  There is a $50.00 fee if you need your gallery reposted.

Any images not ordered will be deleted and ordered images are kept in an archive file for one year.

There is a $100.00 minimum order on all reorders and they may be placed up to one year after the initial order.
